Hello Everyone! I am so excited about teaching fourth grade this year at VCS. My favorite classes to teach are Bible and science. I am enjoying my class and I feel blessed to be able to share about Christ with my students everyday.
I grew up in Spokane after my father retired from the US Air Force. I graduated from Lewis and Clark High School. While my children (Tatiana (22) a VCS alum and Jonathan (16) currently a Sophomore at VCS) were young , I enrolled in college and received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2007. Shortly thereafter, I was hired at Southside Christian School as the third-grade teacher. In December 2015, I completed my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Whitworth University.
In my spare time, I volunteer to lead worship at a retirement community with my mom. I enjoy traveling, reading, drawing, playing guitar, spending time at the lake, and sharing the couch with my two lazy dogs, Soda and Latte. I also own a fat cat named Mollie, but she only likes to be with Jonathan.
