Dear Valley Christian School Community,

Thank you for your continued support and for trusting us with the education of your children.

Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

We are unbelievably blessed to have the hope of the Holy Spirit!

To say that 2020 has been a challenging year would be a major understatement.  The changes in our daily lives have been dramatic and, for many of us, exceedingly difficult.  As followers of Christ, we have tremendous hope.  Those who have faith are promised blessings and a prosperous future.  We rest in that hope and our faith in God.

This letter is to inform you of a decision made by the VCS Board.  After much prayer and deliberation, we are pleased to announce that we have unanimously decided to move forward with in-person teaching for the 2020-21 school year.

God has truly blessed us with a large campus which enables us to “spread out”. We will be utilizing more of our campus than ever before which makes physical-distancing easier for us than other schools in our area. In addition, we will be following the guidelines of Washington State and the Spokane Regional Health District.  These include requiring the use of approved face masks, sanitization, and following strict COVID-19 screening protocols.

We are excited for what God has in store for VCS.  He has blessed us richly and we are anxious to experience His will for this coming school year.  You can expect more details from the school Administration in the coming days and weeks.  Please feel free to reach out with questions and concerns.

May the Lord Bless You,

Brent Pope, VCS Board Chair
