Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered. And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.

Hebrews 5:8-9

Sending your student to one school from beginning to end, starting in Pre-K and continuing all the way through 12th grade just makes good sense.  This consistency helps them correlate their education with staff that know them and help them excel out of their comfort zone. In elementary, we offer speech meet, spelling bees, after school chess, tutoring, regular scheduled field trips and varying clubs to advance your child’s learning. In high school we help to advance their college placement and education by offering concurrent credit & AP courses.

VCS is always seeking how we can make our school better for today’s generation. We work to provide varying resources for families to enhance their child’s education from chess club, robotics, engineering, concurrent credit courses, AP classes, speech meet, spelling bee, knowledge bowl and other resources. Field trips are often regularly scheduled to provide dynamic learning with the curriculum teachers are presenting in the classroom. VCS works to provide your child everyday experiences of classroom work, homework, friendships, success, failures, growth and change to help their experience at VCS be productive to their personal growth. Sometimes it is the small things such as our secondary students praying with every class in the school during the course of the year, from kindergarten through high school that provide long lasting memories and commitment to their faith. It is during these times that little brothers and sisters in Christ meet and are mentored by caring older students. Classes make it a point to plan fun events and celebrate things like birthdays and school spirit as a close-knit friendship group.  Students work to include and accept one another it is a strength of this school community; as we continue to grow to be a part of the family of God.
