No family at VCS pays the full cost of education.

Valley Christian School is pleased to offer Variable Tuition.

Tuition at VCS is not “one-size-fits-all.” It’s an income-based range that allows for up to a 50% reduction in tuition. Variable Tuition adjusts tuition rates to meet your family’s unique financial position.

Application Fee $50 Per student, first year only
Family Enrollment Fee $300 Per family, annual
Homeschool: Secondary Assessment Fee $125 Per student, 7-12 grade
Homeschool: Optional VCS Day School Classes $500/semester Per class, 7-12 grade

Withdrawal of Student: Students who withdraw after July 1 will be assessed 20% of the total annual tuition as a withdrawal fee through September. The fee will be reduced by 2% each month, thereafter. If the student transfers to the Accountability Program, they will be assessed a withdrawal fee of 10%, the fee will be reduced by 1% each month, thereafter. The actual Homeschool tuition is prorated by the day. Regular monthly withdrawals/credit card charges will be made until the entire account balance is paid.

Credit cards will be accepted on all Tuition and Fee payments with a convenience fee.
* The highest number in the tuition range represents the amount for Parents who don’t qualify or choose not to apply for variable tuition.
** Fundraising helps cover the full cost of education.

No. Only families who feel they may not be able to afford the full cost of tuition should apply for Variable Tuition. If the cost is not a burden, there is no need to apply.

Variable Tuition will take the place of the financial aid program. No family will get less assistance because of our transition to Variable Tuition.

Yes. New students must submit an application for admission to Valley Christian School first. The admission application is a separate process from the Variable Tuition process, but both applications may be processed simultaneously.

Variable Tuition is a need-based tuition assistance program. The Variable Tuition program makes a Valley Christian education affordable to many qualified students who might not be able to join our school community otherwise.

Many factors are considered in our Variable Tuition application process, including:

  • income
  • assets
  • available resources
  • unusual expenses
  • family size

Unfortunately, we may not be able to provide Variable Tuition to every deserving student. We work within our available resources to make a Valley Christian education accessible to as many students and families as possible. This is part of the reason we encourage every family who feels they need Variable Tuition to apply as early as possible.

Yes, you can receive a Variable Tuition estimate from our Business Office before you apply for Valley Christian School.

How Do I Apply For Variable Tuition?2021-05-10T14:27:18-07:00

First, complete the admissions or re-enrollment application for all students in your family as early as possible.

Then, for returning families, complete the Variable Tuition application before the May 31st deadline.

For new families, the Variable Tuition application is an optional part of the enrollment process.
