We are the Panthers!

The purpose of VCS athletics is to play, perform and cheer in such a way that produces competitive teams while also challenging students to grow in their relationship with Christ both on and off the field of play.

Students have a unique opportunity through the sports programs at VCS that differs from those found elsewhere. Athletes can be assured that they have a coach that cares about their personal and spiritual development as much as their on the field performance. Mentorship is valued in our programs at VCS and we trust the lessons learned in being a student/athlete will help guide them throughout their adult life.

The VCS track and field program will always hold a special place in my heart because of the way it taught me to value teamwork and to enjoy every little moment of the sport. Doing track and field at VCS was unique because of the way our team really loved God which helped me grow in my desire to want to glorify God with everything I accomplished in the sport! – Julia Hayes, Alumn
