High School Spanish Teacher

Contracted By: Valley Christian School

Time Required: Part Time (10-month contract August 16, 2021 to June 9, 2022)

Responsible To: VCS Administrator/School Principal

Teaching Responsibilities:

  1. High School Foreign Language Spanish I & II (two class periods a day for 1 year)
  2. Student experiences of Foreign Language culture in and out of the classroom
  3. Foreign Language conversational opportunities in and out of the classroom


  1. Minimum BA/BS Degree.
  2. ACSI Temporary, Standard, or Professional Teaching Certificate (or willingness to acquire)
  3. WA State Teaching Certificate (preferred, not mandatory)
  4. Committed Christian Life/Testimony of personal relationship with Christ
  5. A Biblical Worldview
  6. Passion to work with young people
  7. Proficient in Spanish both written and spoken language
  8. Experience teaching Foreign Language in the High School classroom is needed
  9. Proficient Computer Skills
