Time Required: Full Time – 10 Month Contract August 12, 2024 – June 11, 2025

Responsible To: VCS Head Administrator & School Principal

Teaching Responsibilities:

Kindergarten: Reading, Language Arts, Spelling, Math, Science, History, Art and Bible classes.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum BA/BS Degree in area of education or related educational field.
  2. ACSI Temporary, Standard, or Professional Teaching Certificate (or willingness to acquire).
  3. WA State Teaching Certificate (preferred, not mandatory).
  4. Elementary Education Classroom Teaching Experience.
  5. Excellent classroom management, communication, organizational skills, and relational instruction.
  6. Ability to plan and differentiate instruction for various learning/skill levels.
  7. Born Again Believer and follower of Jesus Christ.
  8. Committed Spirit led Christian Life/Example.
  9. Commitment to a Biblical Worldview philosophy of education.
  10. A calling and passion to work with and love young people.
