Responsible To: VCS Athletic Director and High School Principal
Stipend Pay
Responsibilities:
- Be available for all meets and afternoon practices
- Proactive communicator to athletes, parents, and athletic director
- Care of athletic uniforms – distributing to athletes and collecting at the end of the season
- Attend coaching clinics and classes to maintain WIAA coaching credentials for the State of Washington
- Must be organized
- Keep athletes accountable to school policies per sports/coach’s handbook
- Advance the girls’ volleyball program by interacting with the younger players
- Support athletic fundraising efforts when needed
- Organizing an after-season awards banquet with the help of the Athletic Director
Qualifications:
- Related volleyball experience through coaching and, or practical experience
- Born Again Christian
- Committed Christian Life/Testimony – Strong Christian Mentorship
- Passion for working with young people
- Required to have a valid First Aid Card
