Responsible To: VCS Athletic Director and Girls Varsity Head Volleyball Coach

Responsibilities:
- Be available for all games and practices
- Be available for summer practices/summer camps
- Proactive communicator to athletes, parents, and athletic director
- Care of athletic uniforms – distributing to athletes and collecting at the end of the season]
- Attend coaching clinics and classes to maintain WIAA coaching credentials for the State of Washington
- Must be organized
- Keep athletes accountable to school policies per the sports/coach’s handbook
- Advance the girls’ volleyball program by interacting with the younger players
- Work with the varsity coach to implement a strong team culture
Qualifications:
- Related volleyball experience through coaching and, or practical experience
- Born Again Christian
- Committed Christian Life/Testimony – Strong Christian Mentorship
- Passion to work with young people
- Required to have a valid First Aid Card
- Your duties will involve not only the responsibilities ordinarily incumbent with your position at VCS but also those responsibilities related to the special spiritual ministry to which you are called, the training of the child in biblical Christian faith and practice. Employees play a vital role in carrying out the religious mission of instructing the next generation in the faith. In a very real sense, therefore, it is the expectation that you will strive at all times to understand, appreciate, and love the students entrusted to you for their fullest intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual development. As a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, you will faithfully attend the regular services of your church as an example of the believer
