On Saturday, May 12th, the Panther Robotics Team participated in the annual Regional Robotics competition at West Valley High School.  The team placed 3rd overall in the Applied Math and Science competition and finished in the top 1/3 of teams that competed in the “robot game”; 11th out of 35 teams.  In the robot game, the teams were challenged to navigate a course and shoot a laser at a target to accumulate points.  The Panther-bot was controlled by 3 team members; one controlled the movement of the robot while the other two controlled the turret and laser on the front and rear of the robot.

Team Members:  Josh Helt, James Elliott, Robert Lasko, Aidan Hoag, Connor Simonds, and Ruby Floch.

Thanks to our coaches, Mr. Goering and Mrs. Fansler!
