“Math is Cool” is Even Cooler in Placing 1st

The Math is Cool team started practicing with Coach Karin Simonds just a few short months ago.  The time they have put in every Wednesday morning has really paid off.

In February, they traveled to Seattle to compete in their division’s qualifying event for the Washington State finals.  The success they experienced at this event sealed their bid for the next level of competition.

On April 21, 2018, they blew away the competition and placed 1st in the 8th Grade Division. Veteran competitor, Cameron Simonds who placed 4th in the individual round.
