Get Involved at VCS

Our community thrives because families get involved. From classrooms to athletic fields, from service to missions, your participation strengthens the VCS experience for every student.

Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)

The Parent-Teacher Fellowship builds bridges between families and faculty. PTF members help coordinate events, support teachers, and cultivate the family-focused culture that makes VCS unique. Meetings are open to all parents — your ideas and helping hands are always welcome.

Booster Club

Boosters support our athletic programs by funding projects not covered in the regular budget — new scoreboards, equipment upgrades, concession improvements, and more. Volunteers also help operate concession stands and organize clothing fundraisers each fall and spring.

Classroom & Field Trip Volunteers

Parents play an active role in shaping the learning experience at Valley Christian School. Classroom and field trip volunteers provide extra hands, encouragement, and enthusiasm that help teachers focus on what matters most—teaching and mentoring students.

Protecting Our Students

Student safety is one of our highest priorities at Valley Christian School. All volunteers—whether assisting in a classroom, helping at events, or joining field trips—are required to complete a background check before working with students. This ensures that every adult serving on campus shares our commitment to providing a secure, Christ-centered environment.

Background checks must be renewed every two years to keep information current and maintain the highest standards of child protection. We’re grateful for the parents and supporters who take this step to help safeguard our students and strengthen the trust that defines the VCS community.

Panther Project

Each year, the entire Valley Christian School community comes together for the Panther Project, an all-school day of service across Spokane. Students, teachers, and families work side by side in projects that meet real needs and share Christ’s love in practical ways.

Panther Partners

Panther Partners unite local businesses and families who believe in Christian education. Partners provide ongoing financial and in-kind support that strengthens every area of VCS.

Year-End Giving

Our annual December campaign aligns with the VCS Review yearly newsletter and provides families and friends a final opportunity to give before the tax year closes.

Annual VCS Auction

The Annual VCS Auction is a highlight of the year — a joyful evening of generosity and community. Funds raised go toward essential programs and improvements.
