Elementary Grade Teacher

Contracted By: Valley Christian School

Time Required: Full Time – 10 Month Contract August 16, 2021 – June 9, 2022

Responsible To: VCS Head Administrator & School Principal

Teaching Responsibilities: Reading, Language Arts, Spelling, Math, Science, History, Art and Bible classes.


  1. Minimum BA/BS degree in area of education or related educational field.
  2. ACSI Temporary, Standard, or Professional Teaching Certificate (or willingness to acquire).
  3. WA State Teaching Certificate (preferred, not mandatory).
  4. Elementary education classroom teaching experience.
  5. Excellent classroom management skills and relational instruction.
  6. Born-again believer and follower of Jesus Christ.
  7. Committed Spirit-led Christian life/example.
  8. Commitment to a Biblical Worldview philosophy of education.
  9. A calling and passion to work with and love young people.
