Reports to: VCS Business Manager
Dates of contract: August 2021- July 2022
- Up to .5 FTE (Part-time 10-20 hours per week)
This position reports to the VCS Business Manager. The position will be responsible to record and process weekly bills and deposits. Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions. They will handle most of the school’s purchasing with the objective of lowering curriculum and supply costs. They will assist in processing monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports. As well as projects as outlined by the Business Manager.
- Committed Christian Life/Testimony of Faith in Christ
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office suite
- Basic understanding of Financial Reporting
- Attention to Detail
- High school diploma or greater
- Current Driver’s License
- Pass background checks
- Pass a Drug test
- Previous Bookkeeping experience required
